The company’s portfolio consists of the iconic Auckland Home Show, the largest and most successful event of its kind in Australasia, and two Canterbury Home Shows, both of which have been operating for over 40 years.

Jane Ford is the Managing Director and owner of Exhibitions and Events New Zealand (EENZ) and its parent company, Exhibitions and Events Australia (EEA). With a career in the exhibition industry spanning over 20 years, Jane’s leadership and vision have positioned her companies as pioneers in the events sector.
Jane founded EEA in 2005 after holding senior positions with DMG World Media and Australian Trade Exhibitions. Under her guidance, EEA became Australia’s largest privately owned exhibitions company, organising highly successful events such as the Home Shows, Mind Body Spirit Festivals, and the EveryWoman Expo. In 2010, Jane expanded her reach into New Zealand, establishing EENZ as a 100% owned subsidiary of EEA. EENZ now owns and organises three major Home Shows, including the Auckland Home Show, Australasia’s largest home event.
Recognised as one of the most successful B2C exhibition organisers in Australia, Jane’s strengths lie in financial and people management, innovation, and a deep understanding of customer needs. She is known for her ability to identify challenges and implement strategic solutions that drive growth—whether through increasing visitor numbers, enhancing exhibitor value, or creating year-round marketing opportunities.
Jane is passionate about mentorship and building strong business relationships. She credits much of her success to the lessons learned from her parents, whose determination and hard work shaped her own resilience and work ethic. For Jane, self-awareness is key: she embraces her weaknesses and surrounds herself with a team whose strengths complement her own.
